Continuing with my Gemini theme of pairs, here is the fictional version. I realize they are all dudes. They seem to come in pairs.

Aries – Beavis and Butthead. The humour of these two seems so simplistic, yet if you really think about it, there are a lot of layers to these seemingly clueless couch potatoes.

Taurus – Chip and Dale. Old school and Rescue Rangers, they are a dynamic duo.

Gemini – Mario and Luigi. Sometimes they work together. Sometimes they are in competition. Sometimes they are big. Sometimes they are little. Are they heroes or are they plumbers? What is up with their dependence on ‘shrooms?

Cancer – Pooh and Piglet. What a gentle pair. You should read the Tao of Pooh and the Te of Piglet. Great things can come in small sizes. They are quite wise in their ways.

Leo – Kirk and Spock. They both have very strong personalities, but they go together like peanut butter and jelly. If peanut butter constantly gets his shirt ripped off and punches people in the face every chance he gets.

Virgo – Bert and Ernie. Platonic life partners that show how opposites attract.

Libra – Scooby and Shaggy. Man and his best friend having some good times, sort of helping their friend solve mysteries, but really just always searching to fix their cravings. You know the drill.

Scorpio – Batman and Robin. They both experienced traumatic losses leaving them both orphaned and thirsty for revenge. Somehow they are still the good guys. It’s all about perspective.

Sagittarius – Terrance and Phillip. Dogged on for their Canadian sense of humour, these talented two actually do no wrong. “Let’s hunt for treasure!”

Capricorn – Pinky and the Brain. Tenacious, little devious mouse and his clumsy minion. Cute! I love them.

Aquarius – Ren and Stimpy. I put them here because they were so ahead of their time.

Pisces – Calvin and Hobbes. Imagination and childhood innocence are ideals of the last sign of the zodiac.
